Where this started.
Brand discovery changed. We saw it first inside our own client work.
AI assistants surfaced different answers than search engines. The same brand could rank #1 on Google and stay invisible in ChatGPT.
Then agents arrived. Buyers stopped browsing — software started researching on their behalf. Discovery wasn't a SERP anymore. It was an agent decision.
We spent a year on it. Hundreds of experiments. Then thousands. One goal: crack what makes a brand get cited by an AI — and what doesn't.
The Citation Code, we called it.
What we found ran against most GEO and SEO playbooks. Citations don't come from keyword density. They don't come from backlinks. They come from structured evidence agents can retrieve, verify, and act on.
That insight turned into a methodology . The methodology turned into a system: the Agent Success Score, the Citation Engine, the Five-Agent Fleet, the Evidence Layer.
Then it became a product. Hyperize.
